Holistic Nutrition is more than just food. As practitioners, we look at the entire body system alongside lifestyle and dietary choices -no matter where someone begins on their journey towards wellness or disease prevention holistically. We work together to create changes that have lasting impact with no need for fad diets when you can enjoy your favourite snacks with mindful eating habits in mind.

Michelle's Philisophy:

Here is where I’m going to be straight with you. I am the first to admit, I am NOT perfect. Our family has movie nights with our favourite “unhealthy” snacks and I too enjoy a good ribeye from time to time. It’s all about choices and learning how to enjoy our lives while still being able to understand how food or lifestyle impacts our overall health.

We are all a “work in progress” and our bodies continuously change over time. What is important is awareness and creating healthy habits through practical steps that optimize your well being. Your nutritional plan should also be unique to you, based on your physical constitution, current health status, and daily life. And to reach your best health, you may require a combination of different approaches and/or supportive nourishing foods.

The right mindset is also critical. We need to free ourselves from this “diet culture” and image obsession; we need to understand the deeper-rooted causes of chronic health issues. That is the key to long-lasting optimal health.

Also recognizing that you have the power to create your own health story – no matter where you are currently. You simply need the right tools to guide you and that’s where I come in. I teach you those skills and help you get in tune with your own instincts, so you can “listen” to what your body needs.

And it’s not just about nutrition. Overall health includes movement, mental and emotional health too!

Be willing to listen to your own body and intuition (even if it goes against conventional “science”).
