About Dr. Kevin Tipper
As a Naturopathic Doctor, it is my philosophy to address your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. I believe in working with you to optimize all aspects of your health and to meet your lifestyle goals while actively encouraging a balanced approach to wellness.
I offer a wide range of treatments such as nutritional counselling, nutritional supplementation, acupuncture, spinal adjustments, IV therapy, and botanical medicine. I have advanced training in regenerative injection therapy, such as prolotherapy, that promotes the regenerative healing of cartilage, ligaments, and tendons helping with injury recovery and chronic pain. I rely on the most current research to treat chronic pain, sports injuries, gastrointestinal issues, anxiety/depression, and men’s health. However, I maintain a general Naturopathic medical practice and enjoy working with all patients.
I was born and raised in the Lower Mainland and spent most of my younger years focused on athletics. This led to a junior hockey career which took me to the Western Hockey League. After ending my hockey career I started my education in health at the University of British Columbia, receiving a Bachelor of Science with distinction. I continued on to the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine where I received the prestigious Academic Excellence Award upon graduation. My passion for academia and Naturopathic medicine resulted in a core faculty position at the Boucher Institute where I continue to teach Biomedical Sciences, Exercise Therapeutics, Anatomy, among others.
While I thoroughly enjoy my work as a clinician and teacher, finding balance for me looks like hiking the local mountains, hitting the tennis courts, playing hockey, or watching a movie at the theatre.
I am currently accepting new patients and I am looking forward to working with you!
